Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a delivery driver to join our local delivery team. You will drive 45 hours per week, loading stock at the branch and delivering to customers, with a focus on reliable service and customer satisfaction.

Hours are 45 per week on an Any 5 from 7 pattern, with some weekend work and overtime opportunities. Fully funded CPC training hours are provided as part of the role and you can earn up to £39,300 per year.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T Licence.
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years).
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the Branch and unload at the customer premises.
• Ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.
• Deliver to customers and maintain a high standard of service.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

Working on an "Any 5 from 7" contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

Main Responsibilities

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

CatC / 18T Licence
