We are seeking a motivatedand caring Neonatal Staff Nurse to joinour Neonatal Unit. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills inneonatal nursing within a supportive and friendly team. Our unit providesspecial care, high dependency care and intensive care for babies from 27 weeksgestation and above.
It is essential that you are an RN or RSCN, possesthe Qualification in Speciality or have a keen interest to work towards theQualification in Specialty, Intensive Care of the Newborn.
Itis required that you have excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills. Have an approachablemanner and positive attitude with the ability towork effectively as part of a teamwhilst being committed to providing high quality care to the infants andfamilies accessing our services.
You will be expected to deliver safe,evidence-based nursing care to neonates and their families.
Monitor and assess babies conditions, respondingpromptly to changes.
Administer medications and treatments asprescribed, adhering to the NMC guidance, policies and proceedures.
Support parents in understanding and participatingas partners in their babys care.
Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to allclinical governance standards.
