Job summary

An esteemed educational institution in the UK is seeking a Research Associate to contribute to the ADIA2 project. This role requires essential tape-out experience and good knowledge of digital IC design. The successful candidate will also leverage scripting skills to support project activities and will be responsible for generating innovative ideas and presenting technical work. This is a full-time fixed-term position until March 2028.

Qualifications

  • Must have tape-out experience.
  • Strong understanding of digital IC design flow.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as SKILL and Ocean Script.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the ADIA2 project within the IMNS institute.

UE07: £41,064.00 - £48,822.00 Per Annum.

School of Engineering, College of Science & Engineering / Institute for Integrated Micro & Nano Systems (IMNS)

Fixed term contract until 31st March 2028.

Full time - 35 hours per week.

The Opportunity

This Research Associate position will contribute to the ADIA2 project within the IMNS institute at the University of Edinburgh, which is funded by DSTL. The role is subject to DSTL security clearance checks and appointment will be subject to candidates successfully completing these checks as well as right to work in the UK checks.

This role is UE07 and is available on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2028
