11280 – 40 hour - Qualified Pharmacy Assistant – Permanent Contract

We are looking to recruit a 40‑hour Qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 728‑branch located at Stubbing Road Medical Centre, Stubbing Road, Chesterfield, S40 2HP.

Shift Pattern

• Monday 09:00–18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
• Tuesday 09:00–18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
• Wednesday 09:00–18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
• Thursday 09:00–18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
• Friday 09:00–18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)

Responsibilities

As a Qualified Pharmacy Assistant you will assist the pharmacy in delivering an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to customers, with a specific focus on supporting the dispensing and labelling of prescription items. You will also receive prescriptions, hand out prescription items and help manage stock levels within the dispensary.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services is essential. Skills in planning, attention to detail and working under pressure are all required.

The successful candidate must have great people skills as this is paramount to the role. You will work as part of a well‑established team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.
