Job description
Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver – Fixed Term Contract (12 months)

This role is based at our 524 branch on Elstree Way, Haydon, Swindon, SN25 4YX. Work hours: Monday to Friday 08:30‑18:30 and Saturday 09:00‑12:00. You must be flexible to work within these opening times.

Primary responsibilities include promptly delivering prescription items to private homes, nursing and residential homes while maintaining a professional image as an ambassador for the Cohens brand. You will work under pressure to meet designated delivery times, ensure accuracy of prescriptions in line with regulated procedures, and adhere to company mileage reimbursement guidelines (40p/mile up to 10,000 miles, 25p/mile thereafter). You will also maintain fuel receipts and submit mileage claims weekly. Basic computer skills are required to plan and print daily routes. Occasionally you may assist with PR exercises to increase business.

You must use your own vehicle; your insurance policy must allow business use. The company will contribute financially to the business portion of your insurance once you provide proof of the increased premium.
