We are looking to recruit a 10 Hour Prescription Delivery Driver on a part time permanent contract to work between at our 037 branch located at Victoria Health Centre, 3 Victoria Crescent West, Barnsley, S75 2AE.

Working hours

• Monday 10:00-12:00
• Tuesday 10:00-12:00
• Wednesday 10:00-12:00
• Thursday 10:00-12:00
• Friday 10:00-12:00

We are looking for an individual who is flexible, has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes.
• Provide a high standard of customer service and portray a friendly professional image as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
• Work under pressure to deliver prescriptions within the designated time period.
• Ensure delivery is in line with the company's regulated procedures and attention to detail.
• Plan and print daily routes in branch before setting off.
• Assist with PR exercises to increase business (if required).

Remuneration and Benefits

• Reimbursement for mileage: 40p per mile up to 10,000 miles, then 25p per mile as per HMRC guidelines; fuel receipts must be obtained at each petrol station visit and mileage claim submitted weekly.
