Job description
Qualified Pharmacy Assistant – 22 hour – 6 month Fixed‑term Contract

We are looking to recruit a 22‑hour qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a 6 month fixed‑term contract to work at our 467‑branch located at 135 Croft Lane, Bury, BL9 8QA.

Shift Pattern
  • Tuesday 08:30‑17:30 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Thursday 10:00‑17:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Friday 08:30‑17:30 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
Responsibilities

As a qualified Pharmacy Assistant, you will assist the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to our customers, with specific responsibility for supporting the dispensing and labelling of prescription items.

Additional responsibilities include receiving prescriptions, handing out prescription items and assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary.

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services
  • Skills in planning, attention to detail and working under pressure
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work as part of a well‑established team
