A leading pharmacy group is seeking a Regional Relief Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract in the UK. This role involves dispensing medications, managing stock, and providing excellent service across several branches. Ideal candidates will have customer service experience and must hold a full driving licence. Benefits include bonus schemes, paid holidays, and training opportunities.
We are looking to recruit a 40‑hour Regional Relief Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work across all branches in region 16, covering Yarm, Middlesbrough, Boldon Colliery, Sunderland and Whitley Bay. You must have business insurance for your vehicle and a full driving licence, as you will be required to travel regularly.
Usual working hours can range between 09:00‑17:00 or 09:00‑18:00.
Key duties include:
You will gain excellent knowledge and skills that will contribute to successfully achieving the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing. This position is ideally suited to someone with prior customer‑service experience who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses to progress.
