11209– 4-hour Prescription Delivery Driver – Permanent Contract

We are looking to recruit a 4 Hour Prescription Delivery Driver on a permanent contract to work between at our 726-branch located at Freshney Green Primary Care Centre, Sorrell Road, Grimsby, DN34 4GB.

Working hours

• Tuesday 10:00–12:00
• Thursday 10:00–12:00

Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes. Whilst providing a high standard of customer service, you will portray a friendly professional image and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand. You must be able to work under pressure to deliver the prescriptions in the given designated period of time.

Attention to detail is paramount as you will be responsible to ensure that prescription items are delivered in line with the company’s regulated procedures.

Reimbursement for mileage undertaken on business journeys will be at a rate of 40p per mile up to 10,000 miles, after which 25p a mile will be reimbursed as per HMRC guidelines. Fuel receipts should be obtained for each visit to the petrol station visit and the mileage claim submitted on a weekly basis.

Additional duties may include assistance with PR exercises to increase business.

Requirements

• Very basic computer skills to plan and print daily routes.
• Own vehicle with business insurance; contact insurer and provide proof of increased premium for a financial contribution from the Company.
• Great people skills are essential.
• DBS check will be required as part of recruitment.
