Job summary

Kanadevia Inova is recruiting Plant Attendants for a 1 year fixed-term contract at the Westfield plant in Fife. Immediate starts are available. You will coordinate waste fuel deliveries, fuel handling, incoming consumables, site housekeeping, weighbridge operations and site access control.

Reporting to the STL or Operations Manager, you will work in a small team to operate the plant safely and efficiently, supporting maintenance, handling blockages, and daily duties as required.

Qualifications

• O Level equivalent English and Maths and experience in a similar role.
• Experience/qualifications in the use of Fork Lift Truck (FLT).
• Experience/qualification in operating mobile plant.
• Experience of Front-Loading Shovel (FLS) vehicle also advantageous.
• Familiar with HSE standards, procedures, and requirements and control plant operations in a safe and efficient manner.
• Language: Fluent English
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of vehicles, the use of the Front-Loading Shovel (FLS), Telehandler, Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWPS) and Forklift Truck (FLT) as required
• Effectively react to support Operations and Maintenance during planned and unplanned (i.e. emergency) repairs, blockages and changes in the plant central systems ensuring jobs are completed safely.
• Working at height and in confined spaces.
• Reporting accidents, near misses, and suggest improvements to Plant Operating Instructions and Risk Assessments and monitoring all areas of the plant during plant inspections and report back any defects, issues and hazards on site
