A special educational institution in Birmingham seeks a committed Teacher of the Deaf to provide high-quality learning opportunities for D/deaf children aged 2 to 11. The ideal candidate will be qualified or willing to train, have strong communication skills in British Sign Language, and foster a creative learning environment. The school offers a supportive staff atmosphere and professional development opportunities.
Our outstanding innovative and welcoming primary special school caters for children between the ages of 2 – 11 years old who are D/deaf and require a sign bilingual education. We are currently funded for 65 places. The school has a national reputation as a centre of excellence in Deaf Education. We seek to appoint an excellent Teacher of the D/deaf committed to providing high quality learning opportunities, so that D/deaf children can reach their potential within our bilingual setting.
Longwill is a small, friendly special school which offers an excellent education to D/deaf pupils from throughout the West Midlands and surrounding areas.
A commitment to CPD is essential.
Applications are welcome from Qualified Teachers who are either a Qualified Teacher of the Deaf or would wish to be in the future.
