Job summary

Teaching Personnel TP Tutors in Towcester is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to deliver personalised lessons in pupils’ homes or schools during term-time hours. You will tailor sessions to individual learning needs, focusing on English, Maths or Science as appropriate, and monitor progress with regular feedback.

You'll join a supportive network, with a dedicated consultant and access to CPD opportunities. The role is flexible and part-time, ideal for experienced educators seeking school-hour work

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience delivering the UK curriculum.
• Experience working with children or young people in a school or educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, adaptable and supportive approach to teaching.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• The right to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable due to travel between tuition locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet each pupil's individual learning needs.
• Teach core subjects, including English, Maths and/or Science, depending on your experience.
• Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, engagement and academic progress.
• Monitor and record pupil progress after each session.
• Work closely with schools, Local Authorities and families to support positive outcomes.
