Job summary

A leading tutoring organization in Liverpool is seeking passionate and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support students across core and wider national curriculum subjects. The role offers flexibility with part-time and full-time opportunities, with a minimum pay rate of £25 per hour. Ideal candidates will have a QTS or equivalent and a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN). Access to free training courses and support with lesson planning are provided.

Opportunity

We're looking for passionate and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support students from KS1 through to KS4 across core and wider national curriculum subjects. You'll provide tailored, engaging sessions that help learners build confidence, fill knowledge gaps, and achieve their full potential. Due to the nature of the students we provide support to, applicants must have a background and strong understanding of SEN.

Position Details
  • Location: Sefton
  • Position: 1:1 Tutor
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: dependent on each student
  • End date: Ongoing
  • Contract type: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Part time and full time depending on availability
  • Pay: Minimum rate £25 per hour
  • Working hours: minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum 3 hours per session
Experience, Training and Qualifications
  • QTS or equivalent
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
  • UK classroom teaching experience

Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.

Eligibility
  • Hold the right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references
