Overview

An excellent primary school in Newbury is searching for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP. The role involves working with a KS2 child who has an EHCP for Autism and requires a TA who understands these needs. The position is long‑term, full‑time and based in a mainstream school environment.

Responsibilities
  • Work one‑to‑one with a KS2 child with an EHCP for Autism.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance during lesson delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the SENCO to implement support strategies.
  • Maintain consistency and build a supportive relationship with the child.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a similar setting.
