Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an SEND Tutor to deliver bespoke 1:1 education to pupils not attending school. You will create, plan and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps and boost engagement, helping re-engage learners who have been out of education for some time.

Ideal candidates have QTS/QT LS/PGCE/EYFS or equivalent and at least 6 months' UK school experience, with safeguarding training desirable and DBS/Right to Work requirements to be met.

Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent.
• 6 months+ experience working in a UK school.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke 1:1 education packages to pupils not attending school.
• Plan and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps and boost engagement and attainment.
• Re-engage pupils and provide structure back into daily routines, monitor progression.
