Job summary

An educational recruitment agency is seeking SEND Specialist Tutors in Colchester to provide personalized tuition for young individuals with SEND who are not currently in mainstream education. The position requires creating and delivering tailored 1:1 lessons to help re-engage these students in their learning. Successful candidates will possess QTS or equivalent and UK classroom experience. This part-time role offers flexible working hours with a minimum pay of £25 per hour, paid via Umbrella.

Qualifications

• Hold the right to work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional child-related references.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons.
• Support and re-engage pupils in their learning.
• Submit weekly reports to monitor pupil progression.
