Job summary

Huntingtower Community Primary Academy is seeking three Enhanced Support Assistants to work mornings 8.50am-12.10pm. The role focuses on 1:1 SEND support to help pupils access the curriculum both inside and outside the classroom.

Ideal candidates will have GCSEs in English and Maths (A-C), a Level 3 qualification or be willing to work towards it, and be computer literate with MS Word, Outlook and Excel. Prior experience with children is desirable.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade A-C are essential.
• A Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards Level 3 is essential.
• Candidates should be computer literate with MS Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support 1:1 SEND students to access the curriculum in and outside the classroom.
• Provide a safe, supportive learning environment and monitor pupils' progress.
