Job summary

Quantum Scholars is seeking a patient, experienced 1:1 SEND Maths Tutor to provide personalised GCSE Maths tuition to a young person in Wokingham, Berkshire. The role requires strong GCSE Maths knowledge, SEND experience, and the ability to adapt pace and resources to the learner's needs.

The tutor will work in-person, supporting GCSE Maths studies, identifying gaps, and helping the learner gain confidence and progress. DBS checks and safeguarding duties apply.

Qualifications

• Strong GCSE Maths knowledge and ability to support learners with SEND.
• Ability to adapt teaching style, pace and resources to individual needs.
• Experience delivering one-to-one tuition or personalised educational support is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised one-to-one GCSE Maths tuition for a secondary learner.
• Plan and deliver engaging GCSE Maths lessons suited to SEND needs.
• Identify gaps in knowledge and provide targeted support.
• Support exam preparation, revision and exam technique.
• Monitor progress and adapt tuition accordingly.
