Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a school in Islington, North London. You will provide individual support to a pupil throughout the day, helping access learning and participate in all school activities within a supportive SEN environment.

The role requires strong communication, empathy and the ability to collaborate with teachers to implement strategies that promote inclusion, wellbeing and development for the pupil.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
• Patient, empathetic and supportive approach.
• Understanding of child development and individualized support.
• Commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and positive learning.
