Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil with SEN in a small mainstream primary school in Swindon. The role is full-time, term-time only, starting in September and potentially leading to a permanent position within the school.

You will need SEND experience in a primary setting and an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be able to obtain one. Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a primary setting.
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with Autism and MLD.
• Assist class teacher with everyday activities and learning tasks.
• Support pupil engagement and behaviour in a mainstream setting.
