Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional learning needs (ALN) and special educational needs (SEN)?

We're working closely with a local Multi-Academy Trust to recruit dedicated Teaching Assistants to support students in secondary school settings across Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

About the Role:
  • Supporting students aged 11-16 with a range of ALN and SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties.
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to provide targeted learning support.
  • Assisting classroom teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Promoting independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
  • Helping to implement personalised education and behaviour plans.
About You:
  • Previous experience supporting young people with SEN/ALN is desirable but not essential.
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient with a genuine passion for education.
  • Confident working with secondary-aged pupils (11-16).
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
