Job summary

Junior Adventures Group UK is seeking a passionate 1:1 SEN Activity Playworker for our Derby setting. You will support a child with SEND during our Holiday Club, delivering sensory activities and play-based learning in a safe, inclusive environment.

Role requires 1:1 SEN experience, patience, and the ability to manage challenging behaviours. The position offers term-time hours with a weekly commitment and onsite parking in Chellaston Fields Spencer Academy.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEND.
• Experience in 1:1 support or SEN activities.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours and maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Support children within the Holiday Club.
• Facilitate sensory activities and games.
• Engage with children through play and sport.
• Supervise children in a safe, welcoming setting.
• Help create an inclusive, fun atmosphere for all.
• Experience with PMLD is a plus.
