Job summary

Denbighshire Direct Payments Support Team in Rhyl, United Kingdom, is seeking a Personal Assistant to support an 8-year-old girl in a home setting on a 1:1 basis. The role covers term-time weekends (3 hours per week) or 6 hours per fortnight, with school holidays at 10 hours per week and the pay rate of £13.50 per hour.

The child is non-verbal with ASD and loves Pepper Pig, songs and bubbles; tasks include washing, dressing and feeding, plus engaging activities and supervision to ensure safety

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children.
• Experience of working with individuals with ASD.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily care needs such as dressing, washing and feeding.
• Access and engage in sensory activities and stimulation such as baking.
• Provide safety support and supervision at all times.
• Develop independence, social skills and awareness of personal dangers.
