Job summary

Dean Close St. John’s School is seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join the Learning Support team. The role is part-time, 10 hours per week during term time (35 weeks per year).

You will deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions to help pupils flourish academically and personally. You will work with the Head of Learning Support and teaching staff to help pupils overcome learning barriers, build confidence, independence and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children or young people to support varying learning needs.
• Ability to implement personalised learning programmes.

You will work in partnership with the Head of Learning Support and teaching staff to support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning, developing confidence, independence and resilience.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children or young people, supporting them with their varying learning needs and implementing a personalised learning programme specifically for them.
