Job summary

An online learning platform in the UK seeks private tutors to provide personalized lessons to K-12 ESL students. Tutors will create a welcoming and effective learning environment while adhering to a consistent schedule set by themselves. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree, teaching experience, and availability for at least 20 hours a week. Candidates should be enthusiastic, reliable, and able to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching.
• Available between 8 AM-2 PM GMT on weekdays or 5 AM-2 PM GMT on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
