Job summary

An online learning platform is seeking experienced educators to tutor K-12 students, primarily ESL learners from Singapore and Hong Kong. As a tutor, you will provide personalized lessons with a focus on creating a welcoming learning environment. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of teaching experience, specifically in ELA. The position is flexible—you set your schedule, and the compensation is $20 USD per class, plus incentives.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for students.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time.
