Job summary

Tamfol is seeking a Female Personal Assistant/Support Worker in Leeds LS17 to provide one-to-one and occasional two-to-one care for an individual with complex healthcare needs. The role covers at home and community support, with day and night shifts on offer.

You will work in a home-based setting and accompany the client to activities, appointments and community engagement, ensuring safety and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Female candidate required
• Aged 25+ (for insurance purposes)
• Experienced & confident driver (including motorways and long journeys)
• Calm under pressure, proactive, organised and able to work independently; also a good team player for 2:1 support
• Reliability, consistency and commitment; able to balance home and community support
• Formal healthcare experience not essential; training will be provided
• Open to strong life experience with the right attitude, maturity and compassion

Responsibilities

• One-to-one complex care and support, with 2:1 support at times
• Support with complex healthcare needs, tracheostomy and airway-related care after training
• Personal care, medication management, skin and eye care, mobility and wheelchair support
• Driving to appointments and activities, community access, shopping and errands
• Cooking fresh meals and light household tasks
• Assistance with emails, typing, online shopping and research
• Work independently or as part of a small team in 2:1 arrangements
• Build a positive, professional one-to-one working relationship with the client
