Job summary

McKeevers Chemists is seeking a Full-Time Dispensary Assistant in Liverpool to support pharmacy operations and provide excellent customer service. You will dispense prescriptions, assist pharmacists, and maintain a clean dispensary. Strong attention to detail and good communication skills are essential. Experience in retail or pharmacy is a bonus, and training will be provided.

Your day‑to‑day will be a mix of behind‑the‑scenes pharmacy work and front‑of‑shop customer care. You’ll help keep everything running smoothly – and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately (with training and support)
• Assist the pharmacist with daily duties
• Serve customers with a smile and great advice
• Check stock, expiry dates and keep the shelves looking sharp
• Keep the dispensary clean and organised
• Help with paperwork, systems and prescription claims
• Respect patient confidentiality at all times
• Be a team player – always ready to help out

What We’re Looking For

• A friendly face with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Experience in retail or pharmacy (bonus points)
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services – or happy to train
