New College Durham are seeking to recruit a Sports Facility Assistant. The role will involve supporting the Sport Facilities Manager with the performance of the Sports Complex facilities. To ensure a safe and appropriate environment for all sport and gym users and members and to work with Sports Facilities Manager in relation to sports facilities and Community organisations. Assistants will deliver gym and 3G pitch inductions to clients, providing fitness and wellbeing advice and ensuring users safety across all facilities. Also to keep the Sports Facilities Manager, Curriculum Manager and Head of School informed of relevant developments in the industry and to supervise the maintenance of all equipment and ensure its optimum use.
The role involves evening and weekend work and will be a 0.5 FTE role to cover the evening and weekend shifts required for the facilities.
