Overview

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be expected to provide high‑quality teaching on education programmes and to contribute to providing an outstanding learning experience for our students. The candidate will have a successful track record in the delivery of relevant courses and will also have responsibility for a tutor group. Specific teaching duties include delivering A Level History.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a degree or a similar professional qualification and a recognised teaching qualification. Experience delivering A Level History and a proven teaching record are essential. The successful candidate may also be responsible for a tutor group.

Salary and Benefits
  • Salary is advertised on the qualified lecturer scale; non‑qualified applicants will be considered but paid on a non‑qualified lecturer scale.
  • Benefits include 40 days annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays and College closure days, a teacher pension scheme, relocation package, free on‑site parking and a variety of on‑site benefits and discounts.
