A state transportation department is seeking Transportation Maintenance Workers for winter maintenance positions in Saint-Didier-de-la-Tour. Responsibilities include operating equipment and maintaining state trunk lines. Candidates must possess a CDL at the time of hire, with positions lasting from October to April. This role does not guarantee job stability beyond the season and may require additional certifications.
Filling several limited-term positions throughout Lenawee and Monroe Counties. These are winter maintenance positions that may last from October to April, with no guarantee.

The salary range reflects the minimum at the entry (6) level through the maximum at the experienced (E8) level. Based on education and experience, candidates will be reviewed to determine the level.
Education typically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience
Transportation Maintenance Worker 6, 7, E8 – Must possess a CDL at the time of hire.
Transportation Maintenance Worker E8 – The MDOT Statewide Work Element Coordinator must approve satisfactory completion of the MDOT TMW Work Element training and certification program.
Some positions within this class series may require possession of a commercial Pesticide Applicators license in compliance with the Pesticide Control Act of 1976.
