As a Store Manager at Arctic Juice & Café, you will oversee all aspects of your store’s operations: from team leadership and customer experience to financial performance and operational standards. Your mission is to deliver outstanding service, maintain top-quality products, and drive growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will inspire and develop a motivated team, uphold our brand ethos, and act as an ambassador for Arctic Juice & Café. This role reports directly to the General Manager and Operations Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Culture: Recruit, train, and lead a team of baristas, juicers, and foodies with ongoing coaching and support.
- Foster a collaborative, positive culture rooted in Arctic Juice & Café’s values.
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to boost skills and reinforce standards.
- Hold weekly team meetings and ensure effective communication at all times.
- Create schedules that balance labour costs with customer demand.
- Promote accountability, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
- Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing, cleanliness, and organisation.
- Ensure the store consistently meets brand standards and delivers a premium customer experience.
- Drive efficiency by streamlining workflows and ensuring product consistency.
- Financial & Performance Management: Set and achieve ambitious but realistic sales and performance targets.
- Monitor KPIs such as Sales, COGS, Labour, Variable Costs, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute action plans with the team to close performance gaps and boost results.
- Customer Experience & Brand Standards: Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold Arctic Juice & Café’s commitment to quality.
- Strive to position the brand above traditional juice/coffee chains, aiming to be the world’s leading juice, coffee, and lifestyle company.
- Actively monitor and respond to customer feedback to ensure constant improvement.
- Encourage latte art and presentation excellence, while guiding beginners to focus on quality and consistency first.
- Supply Chain & Inventory: Work with the supply chain team to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels, consumption, and waste, ensuring accurate stock checks and cost control.
- Team Development & Training: Ensure all team members complete required onboarding and training modules.
- Validate skills through regular tests and evaluations.
- Encourage career progression and provide growth opportunities for team members.
- Compliance & Standards: Enforce strict adherence to the company’s Health & Safety Manual.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations and international health standards.
- Ensure uniforms and appearance standards are consistently followed (clothing, shoes, punctuality, and conduct).
- Communication & Reporting: Maintain transparent communication with Area Managers, Operations, and senior leadership.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on performance, challenges, and successes.
- Ensure scheduling, planning, and labour organisation stay within budget and model requirements.
