Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer with strong skills in backend development, system architecture, and infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend systems that support our products, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and secure.

You should be comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity, but also capable of thinking independently and critically when solving complex problems.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and APIs to meet functional and performance requirements
• Architect and scale distributed systems for high availability and resilience
• Model and optimize database structures (SQL and time-series data)
• Manage deployments and cloud infrastructure using AWS
• Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines using GitLab CI and deployment workflows with Argo CD
• Monitor and improve system performance and reliability (observability, logging, alerting)
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and system stability
• Use AI development tools effectively while maintaining thoughtful, high-quality engineering practices
• Contribute to technical decisions and provide guidance to other developers
• Contribute to our DEVOPS practices by ensuring smooth integration between development and operations

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in TypeScript; familiarity with Rust is a plus
• At least 5 years of professional backend development experience
• Strong experience with NestJS (or equivalent), SQL, time-series databases, Kafka, Redis, and MQTT
• Hands‑on experience with AWS infrastructure and services
• Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, and ideally Argo CD
• Ability to write effective unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Comfortable with AI-powered coding tools, but able to work critically and independently
• Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
• Good understanding of distributed systems and inter-service communication
• Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written)
