A global satellite operator is seeking a Service Manager to oversee relationships with maritime connectivity partners. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Satellite & Telecommunications, excellent analytical skills, and a Master’s degree in Engineering. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with various teams to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service delivery. Working locations may include Paris, London, or Turin.

Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Service Manager to join our team and play a critical role in managing the relationship with key partners of our connectivity services, fostering expansion and trust. You will work closely with Sales, Operations and Engineering, contributing directly to our ongoing projects and initiatives. What You’ll Do
  • Join Eutelsat OneWeb’s Connectivity Business Unit and become an integral part of the Service Management Team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key maritime connectivity partners, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Manage service escalations, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure continuous service improvement.
  • Identify areas for service enhancement and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, understanding their evolving needs.
  • Develop, produce and present network performance reports that provide meaningful insight into all contracted services.
  • Monitor service performance ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Mentor our partners on how to gain value from our Digital Products suite.
  • Deliver fantastic results and delight our partners through demonstrating value and driving positive customer experience.
What You’ll Need
  • A Master of Engineering or Master of Science in Engineering.
  • 5+ years’ professional experience within the Satellite & Telecommunications space, with sound knowledge and practical expertise on different types of connectivity services and network topologies. CCENT/CCNA/CCNP would be a plus. Experience in maritime communications would also be a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and developing customer relationship experience and governance frameworks, with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong data analytical skills. Experience with tools such as Power BI & Grafana would be a plus.
  • A well‑structured mindset with project management capabilities. CAPM/PMP would be a plus.
  • Fluent English, and ideally other languages such as French, Italian, Spanish, Norwegian…
