This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer - Enterprise Analytics team in Italy or France.

As a Senior Data Engineer on the Enterprise Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in building, maintaining, and evolving a scalable data platform that supports critical business insights. You will design and deploy reliable data pipelines, collaborate across teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics processes. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fully remote environment while influencing data strategy, infrastructure, and tooling. Your expertise in Python, SQL, and modern data orchestration solutions will be essential to ensuring high performance, reliability, and innovation across enterprise analytics workflows. You will also mentor peers and help drive technical excellence across the organization, contributing to a culture of collaboration, automation, and measurable impact.

Accountabilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain reliable and scalable data pipelines that support diverse analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Maintain and improve the data platform, ensuring performance, reliability, and security using best DevOps practices.
  • Proactively propose and implement improvements to analytics infrastructure, exploring innovative tools and approaches.
  • Write clear technical documentation and communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support team members, sharing knowledge and promoting professional growth.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in backend or data engineering roles, with strong expertise in Python and SQL.
  • Solid experience with data orchestration tools such as Dagster or Airflow.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines and systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, ECS Fargate, RDS/Postgres) and containerization.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
  • Deep understanding of data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Clickhouse).
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, capable of proposing suitable technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for collaboration across distributed teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with AI-driven automation, production deployments, and building real products is a plus.
