Role Overview

We’re looking for a well-connected Sales Account Manager with strong relationships in professional team sports to strengthen our commercial presence in France. In this role, you will drive sales by engaging directly with professional teams, expanding relationships, and helping teams adopt practices that enhance performance.

We expect you to be a proactive member of the Firstbeat team, working closely with colleagues and customers to ensure that market insights, customer feedback, and local opportunities help shape our value creation in team sports. This role is ideal for someone who already has strong networks in French sports, especially elite and professional teams, someone who has a passion for performance technology and understanding of physiology and who thrives in a self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers (S&C coaches, performance directors, head coaches, technical staff) in elite and professional clubs.
  • Search proactively for new clients and manage your own sales pipeline.
  • Present and demonstrate our software, adapting the message to each team’s needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals focused on long-term collaboration.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clubs, federations, and sports organizations in France.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients and Firstbeat, ensuring excellent communication and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of physiology and its role in training, recovery, and athlete performance
  • Familiarity with concepts such as internal load, recovery, fitness testing etc.
  • Sales experience in sports or technology is preferred, but no a demand.
  • Experience working in the elite team sports market and strong existing network within French elite and professional sports.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent French required, English needed for internal communication.
  • Passion for sports performance and technology-driven development.
