Description of the department

Within Real Assets, the Development team, led by Germain Aunidas, reports to the Asset Management department. It is comprised of a dozen people in Paris, as well as about twenty others spread across the main European capitals (UK, Germany, Benelux, Spain, Italy), in connection with Gabriel Mattout, acting as Pan European Development Coordinator.

The Intern will join a team of 2 analysts based in Paris and led by Gabriel Mattout.

Each development team, in each country, sources real‑estate opportunities (external acquisition or existing assets to be restructured), defines the programming, designs the projects, proposes a financial strategy to the investment committee, manages the various service providers (MOD, AMO, architects, broker, etc.) and markets the assets (product marketing, contract negotiation).

The work mainly focuses on tertiary projects but also develops residential and/or multi‑product projects.

The main responsibilities of the role

• In connection with the development teams in Europe, and under the supervision of Gabriel Mattout, you will assist the various managers and local teams on a daily basis in their operational missions:
• Assistance in the investment analysis of development projects: balance sheet & cash flow.
• Assistance in carrying out market studies and drafting minutes of meetings.
• Establishment of project benchmarking tools (by country/by typology).
• Assistance in the preparation of investment committees or presentations for clients (fund manager, and others).

• Postgraduate studies in Finance, Management, Engineering, or Law school.
