A research institution in France is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to investigate tissue-resident plasma cells in the lungs following infection. The laboratory of Mauro Gaya at the Centre d’Immunologie de Marseille-Luminy (CIML), Marseille, France is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to investigate tissue-resident plasma cells in the lungs following infection.

Project Description

The project focuses on understanding the development, maintenance, and functional roles of lung-resident plasma cells during and after infection. Using state-of-the-art immunology techniques, including flow cytometry, single-cell sequencing, and in vivo models, the candidate will dissect the cellular and molecular mechanisms governing tissue-specific humoral immunity.

Requirements
  • A PhD in immunology, microbiology, or a related field.
  • Strong background in B cell biology, adaptive immunity, or infectious disease models.
  • Experience with mouse models, flow cytometry, or molecular biology techniques is highly desirable.
