A leading research university in France is offering a 6-month postdoctoral position in neuropsychology to analyze cognitive and neuroimaging data related to Korsakoff's syndrome. A 6-month postdoctoral position is available to work on neuropsychology and neuroimaging of Korsakoff’s syndrome. The candidate will be involved in the analyses of cognitive and multimodal imaging data (anatomical MRI, DTI, resting‑state functional MRI, FDG‑PET) already collected in patients with Korsakoff syndrome. The candidate will be welcomed in the Inserm Neuropresage UA20 directed by Gael Chételat and Géraldine Rauchs. The post‑doctoral fellow will be supervised by Anne Lise Pitel, expert in the field of clinical neurosciences of alcohol use disorder. The successful applicant will join a large multidisciplinary team (including scientists, engineer, technicians, physicians, psychologists, and PhD students) working on major neurocognitive disorders and using complementary neuropsychological and neuroimaging techniques. This position offers the opportunity to work in a high‑quality research environment, with strong clinical and scientific collaborations.
Duration: 6 months.
Salary: approximately 2900 euros (gross salary i.e. salary before taxes) per month.

Specific Requirements
Applicants should have a PhD in neuropsychology or neuroimaging‑related field. Additional knowledge in clinical neurosciences and ideally addiction or amnesia are desired. Essentials to this post also include good communication skills and an interest in multidisciplinary teamwork.

The team is based at the Cyceron center, a structure that provides a stimulating work environment as it groups several research units and several research tools, such as a cyclotron 1 PET-CT, 1 PET-MRI animal studies, 1 3T MRI for human scans and a 7T MRI for small animals. The lab is located in the beautiful and historical city of Caen (Normandy, France, ) which is 2 hours by train from Paris; it is also just 10 minutes away from the beaches. The city is within driving distance of popular Normandy attractions including Bayeux and its famous tapestry, the D‑Day Landing Beaches, and the picturesque Pays d’Auge, home of cider and cheese.
