LEAD OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Location: Paris

Contract duration: 5 months

Schedule: Full-Time (Monday – Friday)

Project: Various projects (Oil & Gas)

On behalf of our customers, we are currently recruiting for a Lead Operations and Maintenance Engineer to be placed in Nanterre and would be on a 5 months contract with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities
  • Guarantee that the Operations activities will take place under the conditions of Hygiene, health, safety, security and environment, quality, planning, costs
  • Develop O&M strategy to execute the OR & O&M activities for different business lines (digitalization, gas monetization, decarbonisation, offshore wind, H2 plant…)
  • Support Asset Life Excellence to deploy new O&M contracts
  • Participate to the implementation of the standards of the discipline then manage the system of improvement of the said discipline
  • Provide support for O&M proposals
  • Support O&M Engineering scope of work for future EPC (schedule, mobilization of required resources, deployment of systems)
  • Development of the Operations Readiness program based on lesson learned
  • Participation to RAM studies
  • Involvement in operability and maintainability study
  • Development of Life Cycle Study
  • Lead subcontractors for the development of maintenance system
  • Interface with corrosion department for the development of inspection system
  • Development of Asset Integrity System
  • Development of shutdown plan
  • Development of typical lifting programs
  • Development of the training program and the Competency Assessment system
  • Improvement of hiring system to mobilize the future ops resources
  • Participate in the development of digital tools
  • Ensure training books and program are properly prepared according to EPC SoW
  • Ensure O&M Manuals are properly developed by subcontractors
Skills / Qualifications
  • Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Eng. degree, or Higher National Certificate in Engineering or trade background (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) or extensive operations experience.
  • Ten years’ combined experience in Oil and Gas Operations and projects, including:
    • Technical knowledge of maintenance management for gas treatment and processing, LNG production activities and utilities operations
    • Engineering degree with experience in the fields of operation & maintenance.
    • Working knowledge of troubleshooting process problems and upsets
    • Your strong recognized business expertise
    • English proficiency
    • Practical experience in maintenance of a facility plant and has the management and leadership skills to control the work activities and daily maintenance of the facilities
    • Strong management capability
    • Demonstrated understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control required for the petroleum industry
