A leading packaging company is seeking a Key Account Manager to serve as a single point of contact for customer accounts in France. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the Food Service or Packaging industry, and will be responsible for developing strategic customer plans and leading sales cycles. Overview

Key Account Manager Bag-in-Box & Spouted Pouch France

SIG is a supplier of filling equipment and packaging for food. Europe we operate in three segments: beverage cartons (BC), spouted pouches (SP) and Bag-in-Box (BiB) for the retail and foodservice channel.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the single point of contact for assigned customer accounts ensuring long-term relationship building and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategic annual customer plans in close coordination with Marketing based on available technical solutions and market needs.
  • Lead and manage the entire sales cycle including the design approval and presentation of commercial offers for packaging materials filling machines and services.
  • Forecast sales volume pricing trends and expected account growth with accuracy across monthly quarterly and yearly planning cycles.
  • Create Customer Roadmaps and identify new business opportunities through market and customer insights.
  • Prepare and present business cases using internal tools (e.g. Project Calculation Tool) for internal alignment and investment justification.
  • Drive contractual negotiations and define commercial terms aligned with company profit targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Marketing Finance Supply Chain) to support project execution order management and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor and follow up on packaging material orders service delivery and customer payments.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting S&OP cycles and long-term financial planning for the assigned customer base.
  • Build strong networking relationships at all levels with customers distributors and retailers to unlock new project opportunities.
You bring these skills, experience & education
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Business Administration or related fields; a technical degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or project management ideally in the Food Service and / or Packaging industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in System Model Business and B2B customer environments.
  • Background in working within multinational companies managing complex accounts across different regions.
  • Proven track record in Digital Transformation initiatives or implementation of digital tools and systems.
  • Solid knowledge and autonomous use of SAP, Salesforce and Microsoft Office platforms for reporting data analysis and customer insights.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills with a commercial mindset and focus on high-margin business.
  • Native or fluent in French; fluent in English (both written and spoken).
