The Angers site is part of the Visibility System Pole (VIS). It develops efficient and innovative lighting and wiper systems that support the driver and his passengers in all weathers, day and night, and in their various activities on board the vehicle.
The Angers Development Center (ADC) is looking for a H ardware Design Leader M / F.
Under the responsibility of the Hardware Team Leader, you will ensure the design, validation and delivery of electronic boards for the project, in accordance with the project manager's requirements and in compliance with costs and deadlines.
Your main challenge is to develop electronic board in embedded electronic design (LED technology, switching & linear power supply, converter DC / DC, component technology, ECU)
Define the hardware specifications based on the system specifications and the HW design rules
Lead the HW design and you follow the calculation, the simulations and the validations.
Participate in technical choice to ensure the product robustness and the target cost.
Collaborate with the hardware architect and the technical project manager on all project milestones
Interface with the other Metiers like systems, software, mechanical, quality (...)
Ensure the industrialisation and make the technical support with the EMS (Electronic manufacturing services)
Define and follow the hardware validation plan of the developed solutions
Management, Schedules and budgets
Define the hardware development schedule and ensure its follow-up
Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipment and investments
Follow the activities and expenses and guarantee the respect of the allocated budget
Manage the hardware contributors on a daily basis for the design / development and validation aspects
With an engineering degree, you have a minimum of 5 years experience in electronics design and activity management.
You have knowledge of simulation and CAD tools (Zuken, Simetrix, Pspice...) and good practices in EMC. You have used laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies...
Organized and dynamic, you have the ability to work on several subjects in parallel and are known for your interpersonal skills.
You are passionate about hardware design and the automotive industry.
Your level of English allows you to communicate easily both orally and in writing.
