About the role

Vestiaire Collective seeks a detail-oriented General Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records supporting month-end and year-end closing processes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards in a fast-paced international e-commerce environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts and intercompany accounts
• Prepare journal entries, accruals and support the monthly closing process
• Assist with VAT / sales tax calculations and reporting across multiple jurisdictions
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and management reports to liaise with local tax provider
• Communicate with different interlocutors linked to financial topics
• Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve controls

Who you are

• Accounting license or bachelor’s degree; 2-5 years of working experience in tax accounting fields
• Good understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting standards
