The Field Applications Specialist (FAS) based in France

For Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Field Application Specialist is responsible to provide excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand‑alone laboratory environments.

Ideally based in Ile de France (preferably North of Ile de France), you will be part of the Field Applications Specialist Team and report to the Field Application Manager. You will be responsible for providing frontline support by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technical, scientific expertise and troubleshooting. You will help drive revenue growth while ensuring strong customer contract retention rates and warranty conversion. Use critical thinking to resolve application issues, train our customers, verify the operational performance and data quality of systems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team. This is supported with a clear Development Pathway program as part of our culture to develop and grow our teams.
Be supported by a strong leadership team, involved in key projects to deliver successful installations for our customers that meet their requirements and that of our company.
Provide excellent professional support and training to Beckman Coulter’s customers.
Maintain customer support logs and internal records in a timely manner, resolve issues to deliver a high‑quality Customer Experience.
Develop commercial awareness through cross‑functional support of the business to increase growth opportunities and demonstrate to our customers our pioneering innovation solutions and new products for the market.

The essential requirements of the job include:

University Scientific degree + minimum 1 year of experience in chemical chemistry and immunoassays.
Fluent in French and English. Third European language would be a strong plus.
Ability to interact with customers on a detailed scientific basis to ensure customer needs are fulfilled.
Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography, as well as periodic travel to other areas and overnight travel.
Ability to work flexible hours as per the business needs.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Requirement to travel within France and the European region (up to 90%, 80% France and 10% Europe) to support customers using your technical expertise with overnight stays (up to 70%) as needed.
Hold a current valid driver’s license and good driving record. Associates who drive Beckman Coulter vehicles will follow the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy.

FAS operate independently within their geographic territory; however, we operate as a team to share standard methodologies, mentor and receive expert technical support. Classified as remote worker, provided with a company car, mobile phone and laptop.

Le poste d' Ingénieur application produits basé en France - idéalement en Ile de France ( Nord de l'Ile de France) pour Beckman Coulter Diagnostics

consiste à fournir un excellent service client lors de l’installation et de la maintenance d’instruments et de systèmes de diagnostic dans des hôpitaux et des laboratoires indépendants.

Vous ferez partie de l’équipe des Spécialistes Applications Terrain et serez rattaché(e) au Responsable des Applications Terrain, chargé de fournir un support de première ligne en résolvant les problèmes des clients grâce à une expertise technique et scientifique. Vous contribuerez à la croissance du chiffre d’affaires tout en assurant un fort taux de fidélisation des contrats clients et de conversion des garanties. Vous utiliserez votre esprit critique pour résoudre les problèmes d’application, former nos clients, vérifier les performances opérationnelles et la qualité des données des systèmes. Les exigences essentielles du poste incluent :

Diplôme universitaire scientifique + minimum 1 an d’expérience en chimie analytique et en immunoessais.
Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais. Une troisième langue européenne serait un atout majeur.
Capacité à interagir avec les clients sur une base scientifique détaillée pour répondre à leurs besoins.
Capacité à voyager et à fournir un service dans la zone géographique assignée, ainsi que des déplacements périodiques dans d’autres régions avec nuitées.

Déplacements, permis de conduire et exigences physiques/environnementales :

Déplacements requis en France et en Europe (jusqu’à 90 %, dont 80 % en France et 10 % en Europe) pour soutenir les clients grâce à votre expertise technique, avec des nuitées (jusqu’à 70 %) selon les besoins.
