Location: Poland/Romania/Italy/France
The F&A Manager for Central Europe & Africa will oversee the Finance & Accounts team across the region, ensuring efficient management, standardization, compliance, and alignment with global F&A processes. This role involves leading the team of currently 14 headcounts, ensuring high-quality service delivery, managing stakeholder relationships, and supporting local compliance requirements such as audit and tax.
This position will be newly created as we want to move forward in these growth areas and further strengthen our operations by an F&A Manager Central Europe & Africa who will manage a team across Central Europe (Italy, Poland, Romania and France).
You will be reporting to F&A Director APAC and CEMA based in Delhi.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management
- Lead and manage the CEA F&A team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Transition from country-specific teams to a centralized team responsible for various processes across the region.
- Provide direction, mentorship, development and support to team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensure the creation of backups for critical roles to maintain continuity and performance.
Standardization
- Implement and maintain standardized F&A processes across Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, South Africa, Poland, France, and Romania.
- Promote the use of Ramboll shared Service Centre in India to have high quality and drive efficiencies through scale
Local Compliance
- Ensure adherence to local audit and tax regulations within each operating country.
- Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to mitigate risks and avoid surprises
F&A Service Delivery
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality finance and accounts services.
- Continuously improve service delivery mechanisms to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Meeting F&A Cost Budget
- Ensure the F&A cost budget in Central Europe & Africa (CEA) is met.
- Achieve saving targets through strategic planning and optimization of resources.
Global Alignment
- Transition F&A processes to align with global standards.
- Work closely with key global stakeholders like Group Tax, Group Treasury, Group Internal Audit, Group Compliance, and F&A colleagues from other geographies.
- Implement new global processes and tools in CEA.
Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and communicate effectively to report on progress and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with regional managers to support business growth, operational needs and be able to manage in a true global and complex set up and mix of processes and people etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional finance certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
