Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years higher education in electricity or electronics.
  • At least 10 years experience in printed circuit design.
  • Experience in the automotive sector is a plus.
  • Fluency in Chinese and good English skills.

Responsabilités

  • Manage CAD planning and coordinate PCB Design layout workload.
  • Provide local support for feasibility studies and PCB layout designs.
  • Support project teams on engineering questions related to PCB designs.
  • Report progress and escalate risks identified.
  • Train local teams on eCAD central news and improvements.

The Bobigny site, headquarters and Research and Development center of the Visibility Systems Pole (VIS), develops high-performance and innovative lighting systems that support the driver and passengers in all weather conditions, day and night, and in their various activities on board the vehicle.

We are currently looking for an eCAD Coordinator & Studies M / F to join the Electronic Controller Platform team, a cross-functional entity dedicated to electronics activities, from design to manufacturing and standards development, reporting directly to the Director of EMC and Electronics Disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Offshore layout tasks coordination – Manage the CAD planning in collaboration with central team stakeholders to coordinate the PCB Design layout workload and Projects requests, to be the interface between VIS HW teams and Offshore Central CAD Service line, organize regular conf calls, screen sharing to follow up the designs in progress from the initial HW request to the final delivery.
  • OnSite layout tasks – Provide support locally to the VIS HW teams to perform feasibility studies, placement, prototype & / or demo board PCB Layout designs following OnSite Valeo process
  • Technical support – Provide support to project teams on Engineering questions related to PCB Designs
  • Management report – Report to N the progress of the tasks / activity (KPI, meetings..), escalate risks identified
  • Inform and train locally about eCAD central news, evolutions (CAD Tips, bug & version evolution,...)
  • Propose evolution / improvements to the existing standards and process, taking into account VIS specificities

What about you
  • With 2 to 5 years' higher education in electricity or electronics, you will have at least 10 years' experience in the design of printed circuits - from one layer to 12 layers, double reflow (, , , TQFP, BGA, µvias, etc.).
  • Recognised for your leadership and technical skills, you have a perfect understanding of electronic schematics and EMC issues.
  • Experience in the automotive sector and fluency in Chinese are additional assets.
  • Your English is fluent.
