Franco-Japanese seed company, Vilmorin-Mikado has specialized since 1743 in the creation, production and selling of vegetable seeds for professionals. With the help of more than 1,000 employees, the company distributes its wide range of products on the 5 continents (100+ countries).

The company is part of the Limagrain group (4th largest seed company in the world), which covers field seeds, agri-food products, and cooperative trade.

  • Team Management and Leadership (~40%)
  • As a team manager (6 people), your mission will be to lead, support, and develop a multicultural team (recruitment, training, performance reviews, development plan).
  • Set objectives and monitor individual and team performance.
  • Foster a positive work environment, team cohesion, and communication (especially during busy time).
  • Promote a culture of customer service and operational excellence.
  • Export Operational Monitoring and Management (~40%)
  • From the technical side, your role will be to ensure the complete processing of orders, from entry to invoicing and payment collection.
  • Organize a weekly review of the order portfolio to prioritize, anticipate potential issues, and secure deliveries.
  • Manage customer complaints and provide associated sales follow-up.
  • Ensure compliance with export procedures (Incoterms, documentation, customs compliance, etc.).
  • Management, Coordination, and Reporting (~20%)
  • Finally, you will participate in the implementation of the company strategy, particularly regarding safety and service quality.
  • You will ensure the monthly reporting of your activities and contribute to the reliability of performance indicators.
  • You will work collaboratively with the sales, supply chain, finance, and quality teams to optimize the customer experience.

Replacement because the previous Manager is moving out.

With a Master's degree in International Business (or equivalent), you have at least 5y of experience in an international customer service or sales environment, ideally in the agri-food, agricultural, or industrial sectors. Therefore, you master Incoterms procedures, managing large-scale export and customs documentation. You are comfortable with IT, knows one ERP system (we use JDE), and will be able to learn our reporting tools. Furthermore, you demonstrate managerial skills through a successful experience as a teamleader. You are known for proactivity and autonomy, your analytical and rigorous approach. You will be able to use your interpersonal skills and communication abilities to benefit both clients and colleagues. Fluency in English is required, proficiency in another language (French, Spanish) would be a precious asset.

Recruitment process

  • Salary to be determined based on your profile, 13th-month bonus paid monthly, 'Cadre' status.
  • Working hours: Daily package (211days/year), with a minimum of 14 days of paid time off (RTT) per year.
  • Profit-sharing bonus, management bonus (up to 1.5 months' salary).
