A global cosmetics company in Île-de-France seeks a Real Estate Project Manager to oversee real estate portfolio management and coordinate projects across Europe. Ideal candidates have over 5 years of experience in project management within the tertiary real estate sector and are fluent in French and English. Experience in coordinating diverse project teams and strong analytical skills are essential. This role provides a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic international environment.
L'ORÉAL's real estate portfolio represents 4 million m² in 70 countries, mainly spread over 5 asset classes: offices, laboratories, factories, distribution centers and shops.
L'OREAL's Real Estate Department reports to the Deputy General Manager of the Group. It is organized into 5 geographical areas, mirroring the business organization and has around thirty employees located in Clichy, New York, Shanghai and Singapore. The main trades covered are: leasing, construction, purchase, sale. The Real Estate Department also integrates the legal and financial functions, which allows it to have a complete view and thus optimize its performance.
As part of its development, the Real Estate Department offers a position of Real Estate Project Manager Europe. This position based in the Paris region offers a 360° vision of L'Oréal's businesses and real estate, in France and in Europe, thus combining cultural and multidisciplinary openness.
Under the responsibility of the Real Estate Europe Director, you participate in the deployment of L'Oréal's Real Estate Policy in this zone.
You collaborate at L'Oréal with the various functions of the Real Estate Department (finance, legal, workplace, construction, retail, laboratory, etc.), the General Management teams of the countries / brands / businesses as well as the Campus teams who manage and operate real estate sites.
You also collaborate externally with brokers, advisors (lawyers, technical advisors, certification specialists, etc.), promoters, owners, design & build partners / general contractors.
You have a solid academic background (engineering school, business school, good level 3rd university cycle), possibly supplemented by a third cycle of specialization in real estate.
You have acquired a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management in the tertiary real estate market (office and/or industrial and/or logistics).
You have a solid real estate culture and a good knowledge of the characteristics of tertiary products/buildings, particularly in offices/workplaces
You have a great organizational capacity for the conduct of projects, from design to delivery, and this both from a technical, workplace, safety, environmental point of view and from a financial and legal point of view.
You know how to work in project mode in an international and matrix context and have an impactful communication.
You have strong analytical and synthesis skills.
You are comfortable with Excel and speak French and English fluently.
