A leading consultancy firm is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant. You will conduct in-depth analysis, lead implementations, manage configurations, and train users. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of relevant experience and expertise in either Finance or Supply Chain Management. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement in France with potential for permanent engagement.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant with Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Track record of delivering at least 1 end-to-end implementation project.
  • Deep functional knowledge in Finance or Supply Chain Management.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Duration : 3-month contract, with the strong intent to transition to permanent (CDI) employment afterward.
  • Location : Paris / Lyon (Hybrid arrangement).
  • Travel Requirements : Regular travel (2-3 days per week) to various client sites is mandatory.
  • Contract Type : Full-Time.
  • Company Type : Integrator / Consultancy
  • Language : French (+English)
Responsibilities
  • Consulting & Analysis : Conduct in-depth analysis of client business processes to identify gaps and propose solutions using standard BC functionality.
  • Implementation Leadership : Manage the configuration and deployment of your specialized domain (Finance OR SCM) throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Configuration : Configure the system based on approved design specifications.
  • If Finance : Focus on GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
  • If SCM : Focus on Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, and Warehouse / Manufacturing.
  • Stakeholder Management : Serve as the functional expert, communicating clearly with clients, project managers, and technical developers.
  • Knowledge Transfer : Develop comprehensive documentation and deliver expert user training sessions.
  • Enhancements : Identify opportunities for system improvements and manage the deployment of post-go-live enhancements.
Requirements
  • Minimum Experience : 3+ years as a Functional Consultant with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (or NAV).
  • Project Experience : Proven track record of delivering at least 1 x end-to-end implementation project.
  • Technical Skills : Ability to execute the full cycle : analyse, configure, propose solutions, manage stakeholder communication, and deliver user training.
  • Domain Expertise (Critical) : Must demonstrate deep functional knowledge in EITHER the Finance OR the Supply Chain Management (SCM) domain within Business Central.
  • Nice to Have : Immediate availability, proven success in a consultancy / integrator environment, genuine willingness to travel regularly, and interest in long-term engagement.
