A leading shipping firm in France is seeking an Area Manager to support the sales team and develop business in the region. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in International Sales or Transport, has experience in similar roles, and excels in English and computer tools like Excel and Power Point. This position involves processing quotations, participating in the sales budget, and analyzing performance. Competitive compensation is offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • Graduate with a Master 2 specializing in International Sales / Transport or similar.
  • Completed internship, ideally abroad, proving autonomy and rigor.
  • Perfect command of computer tools, especially Excel and Power Point.
  • Very comfortable in English, able to establish quality relationships.

YOUR ROLE

As part of the shipping line department, you will participate in the development of the business and support the sales team.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As an Area Manager at the heart of the CMA CGM Group's business, your responsibilities are as follows:

  • Apply the commercial and pricing policy for your zone in line with the directives of the Market Manager and the Line Manager
  • Process all quotation requests from your agents
  • Participate in drawing up the sales budget with the Trade Manager and Line Manager
  • Analyzing performance and deviations from the budget in order to propose corrective measures
  • Monitor marketing, as a true expert in your area: market research, statistics, etc.
  • Regularly report performance indicators to line management
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Ideally you are graduated with a Master 2 specializing in International Sales / Transport or similar, you have already completed an internship, ideally abroad, which has allowed you to prove your autonomy, your rigor and your responsiveness.
  • You have a perfect command of computer tools, especially Excel and Power Point.
  • Very comfortable in English, you are able to establish a quality relationship with your interlocutors in France and abroad
